I'm an IT student, always in the urge of surfing the net.  So happy to have an unlimited wifi service in the basak campus but it keeps disconnecting with my mobile phone... i thought the problem was with my mobile device but then i bought a pocket pc a few days ago and still no difference.  The connection would only last for 2 minutes and then disconnects.  Some how, last month, i've experienced using the service without any disconnections and it made me happy, but i noticed that something's not quite right, i noticed that i didn't go through the log in page and was able to surf the net directly. My friends told me that the wifi service was currently being developed during that time.  After that day the log in page's GUI, which is currently being used, changed to a better one and then the disconnection problem came back.

In the CICCT open forum held at the coliseum in basak, I asked if the wifi service is open for mobile devices. Our dean, Dr. Gregg Victor Gabison, was the one who answered my question.  He said that it only supports mobile devices that supports PHP.  -nosebleed-  Sad Smiley hehehehe Since I couldn't understand in what way PHP had to do with it, so I tried it myself and registered an account at the data distribution room.

Confused Smiley i'm really confused, is it because mobile devices or pocket PCs can't receive much signal than laptops? if so, why is it that there's a standard connection time before it disconnects?

I'm not expressing out to demand for a repair since I don't have the right considering it's free.  grin Hoping to log in without disconnection next time.  whistle
